Astronomy and Astrophotography



I've just started in this hobby, so I am just learning the basics.
  1. It is difficult to take successful photographs and it requires:
  2. -study of techniques and theory
  3. -preparation and patience
  4. -willingness to lug equipment
  5. -clear, dark skies far enough from light-polluted metro areas
  6. -good atmospheric conditions and luck
My basic equipment:  A 4" / 102mm refractor telescope with computerized mount drive and 35mm camera
